It's back in the park a ways, doesn't feel safe if you are alone. The dog areas are adequate .The small pools are nice,but there is no shade in the daytime.
Next time I will probably bring my own chairs to sit in. No mud and mostly grass in both dog areas too, which is really nice!
Take the dog to this dog park. Lots of nice people that monitor the dogs. Small and large dog areas.
Free dog park with large and small dog area. They have poop bags on the premises as well as fresh water for the dogs. There is also a kid's play area super close to the dog park, as well as two softball fields and a trail to walk/run/ride bikes on. There are 2 benches to sit on in the large dog area, and 1 in the small dog area. Also there were some balls that seemed to belong to the park for the dogs to play with.
Nice little park that is often overlooked. There is a dog park as well so bring the dog for a little social time or to socialize them to other dogs. The park is home so several transients but don't let that scare you away, they usually mind their own business and don't even beg while at the park. Bathrooms open at the park from Memorial day to Labor day along with several well kept baseball fields that are rarely used.
The dugouts at the baseball fields are being used as homeless shelters and a boozing hangout for the local homeless drunks. They wander the area soliciting nearby businesses and patrons for cigarettes and change. Be mindful of leaving young kids unattended.
