Our club asked GR Auto Gallery if they would be willing to be the main attraction and final destination for our antique car club's annual fall color tour this year. They graciously agreed to come in and host our group of 70 or so participants on a Saturday afternoon even though they are technically closed. They even provided drinks and snacks for our members. Our club members enjoyed the opportunity to spend the afternoon checking out their cars. This is not the first time we have received support from them. They were also a supporter of a car show our club hosted eariler this summer. Thanks for supporting local classic car enthusiasts.
My husband and I recently purchased a 1967 Ford from GR Auto Gallery. We had a wonderful experience. Keegan, our salesman, was very helpful. When we arrived to look at the vehicle, he gave us ample time to look it over and did not pressure us to buy. After we determined we were purchasing the vehicle, he even took time to just show us some other interesting cars and trucks. The paper work was handled quickly and prior to traveling to Michigan to see the vehicle, a few finance companies were recommended. The vehicle was shipped to our home well within the 2 week period they had advised us of. This was truly the best vehicle purchasing experience we have ever had for a new or used vehicle. If you are looking for a classic vehicle, we highly recommend them. Overall super satisfied and definitely not disappointed!
This was the most delightful, auto-buying experience I've ever had. They have a fantastic staff, completely honest, trustworthy and eager to help in any way possible regarding both my trade-in and my purchase. I bought the car and then had a post-purchase inspection (normally ill-advised) but the car passed with flying colors. Customer service and integrity is a good definition of GR Auto Gallery.
I was recently able to attend their open house for the first time and couldn’t believe the number of cars and people, and the hospitality that they showed to everyone.
A couple years ago I went to GR Auto Gallery to look at a '69 Cutlass. I was out of state by a few hours drive. I made the trip Saturday morning, and looked at the car early that afternoon. They let me look it over all I wanted, start it up, shift it, etc. The only thing I couldn't do was test drive it because it was on consignment. That's understandable, but in the future they should ask when they accept a vehicle on consignment if the owner will allow perspective buyers to test drive their vehicle. I made an offer and they said they would contact the owner and let me know what they decided. An hour or so on the way home I got a call back from them saying the owner had accepted my offer. They handled the transaction, including shipping, wonderfully. I had the vehicle in hand within the week and the title transfer was without issue. I have absolutely no complaints, the staff was friendly, low pressure, fairly knowledgeable, and the showroom was clean and they had a good selection. I should mention I went to the Metro Detroit location. The transaction went smoothly and I'm very satisfied. Would recommend!
And the variety of cars! Everything from museum-quality classics, to muscle cars, monster trucks, and sporty exotics. They have it!
