Apparently, they have a policy that dictates how they cut pickles. I asked for my pickle to be cut horizontally as to be placed on my sandwich since I do not have a knife in my office. Well, according to the supervisor on staff, it is against "policy" to cut it any other way. I can tell you as a customer service consultant this is by far the worst action taken during critical customer service opportunity. This store really needs to learn how to seize every single critical moment for their customers. They have achieved black list status and will be a focal point during my next conference.
This is the best Jimmy John's in the GR area by a wide margin. Always friendly and right on it with the order. The place is clean and value is solid.

Stopped there today, the guy was putting together an order to go. He took three cups and walked to the soda machine with the three cups stacked in his right hand. He used his left hand to remove the top cup to set it on the counter, while he was doing this, he removed the second cup with his MOUTH and with his right hand began filling the first cup. We confronted him, he denied it, the other person at the counter told him to redo the drinks, which he did.
Food is okay. I feel it is a bit over priced for what you get compared to other sub sandwich locations.
